Sharing knowledge

We want to help ensure that knowledge about health-promoting design does not end up in the drawer, but is applied in the world. Therefore, we strive to communicate current evidence-based findings.

In our talkspublications and workshops we address topics including public health care/public health, architectural psychology, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and participatory design. In addition, we provide materials that you can use for your own purposes.

Talks and workshops

In scientific presentations and workshops at conferences and congresses, we want to contribute to passing on knowledge from the field of health-promoting design and bring it into the discourse. This also includes challenging and improving the theories and concepts of our work in exchange with others.

A podcast on healthy design

The podcast "Gesunde Gestaltung" (Healthy Design) aims to communicate topics of health-promoting design from different disciplinary perspectives for the German-speaking region. Thereby, design-specific topics (e.g. design methods) as well as topics of adjacent disciplines (e.g. research methods and scientific findings) are considered. In this context, "design" means all forms from service and system to graphics and product to space and landscape.

Teaching and tools

In the context of academic teaching, we contribute to sharing findings and methods of health-promoting design. In addition, we continuously develop tools and aids to apply these approaches in practical work.

4 Fields of work

Medicine

What if the design of a doctor's office, the interplay of spaces, processes and communication media could lead to a more effective daily treatment routine and enable greater trust and openness among patients?

Architecture

Health-promoting design requires a comprehensive and scientifically sound determination of needs and contextual factors. To this end, we offer a wide range of survey, analysis and consulting services for architects.

Psychotherapy

How can the spatial conditions favor the therapeutic process, create trust and radiate security and warmth?

Communicate

We want to help ensure that knowledge about health-promoting design does not end up in the drawer, but is applied in the world. Therefore, we strive to communicate current evidence-based findings.
